ANOTHER OPENING, ANOTHER SHOW!

That’s right, Farquhar Family–it’s time to get out your tap shoes, dust off your juggling balls, pull out your ventriloquist dummy and get ready for VARIETY SHOW NIGHT AT FARQUHAR!!

What’s your talent? Come out and show us! We will be holding auditions for Variety Show Night on Tuesday, November 22nd at 3 pm in Chorus Room 38. So figure out what kind of talent you want to wow your classmates with and try out! We will be accepting up to 25 different acts for this year’s variety show. Your act shouldn’t be any longer than about 3 minutes so choose wisely! There will be TWO rehearsals–one on December 6th and the second on December 8th and the SHOW WILL GO ON December 9th at 7 pm. (If you are trying out for the Spring show, don’t worry, we will make allowances as Dec. 6th is also callbacks for the Spring show.)

One last disclaimer – if we get less than 15 acts, the show will not be held so make sure you urge your classmates to try out. We want to have the best EVER Variety Show at Farquhar.

So You Think You Can – Dance, Act, Sing, Juggle, Twirl, Tumble, Do Magic, Read Minds, Make Us Laugh, Mime, Play an Instrument, — ENTERTAIN US??? Then show up for auditions on November 22nd at 3 pm in Room 38 and PROVE IT!!

P.S. We need your help with sets and backstage work for this extravaganza — but don’t worry — sets will be minimal, but we would like your help all the same! Contact Lynn if you’d like to help us with sets or backstage help.

Variety/Talent Show

The Variety/Talent Show is in need of just that — Variety and Talent! Currently we do not have enough students involved to present the show. If we don’t get more involvement, the show will be cancelled. PLEASE show up to the try-outs on October 22 if you are interested in participating.

Sign-up sheets are located outside the Upper Gym. Auditions will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13 & 14, after school in the Upper Gym.

Variety Show (11/21)

Plans are underway for this year’s Variety Show to be held on Friday, November 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Does your child like to sing, dance, play a musical instrument or perform comedy skits? Then have them come out and be part of the show. Permission slips are available in the main office or simply click the link below.

Auditions will be held after school on Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Thursday, Oct 30. Rehearsals for ALL acts, WITH sound, on Fridays, November 7 and 14 after school.
