There are both last minute reminders for students and parents as well as your camping equipment list. The first group will be leaving October 13 returning on October 15 and the second group will leave on October 19 through 21.

If you have a sixth grader, your child will participate in the annual Outdoor Education, which will be held in October.  Attached is a flyer from MCPS announcing its Open House on Thursday, September 10, 2009.

If there are any changes in school operations due to weather conditions today Friday, February 1, announcements about the students’ return to school will be made by:

Outdoor Education begins next week, January 28, for 6th graders. 
The residential program provides on-site, hands-on environmental education experiences to the total sixth grade population. All parents of 6th graders are invited to join the Outdoor Parent Information Meeting on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at 7PM in the cafeteria.   There will be a Power Point presentation, which will detail all the particulars of this year’s outdoor education experience.    See you there!
