Volunteers Needed for 8th Grade Dance.  It is FMS’ tradition that the 6th and 7th grade parents plan, coordinate and provide the volunteers for the 8th grade dance, which is being held May 30, 2009.
 
We need 20 families to provide 1 -2 dozen desserts such as cookies, brownies, donuts, etc.

If so, you are invited to the next meeting of the Sherwood Warriors Club.  The Warriors Club is the official booster club for Sherwood athletic programs.  Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 5th at 7:00 pm in the Sherwood Media Center.

Attached is a flyer regarding  Sherwood’s College Readiness Program on Thursday, January 29th (snow date: Feb 5th). This program will discuss the transition to high school; courses offered; and what parents should begin focusing on in regards to college preparation. This past weekend’s 8th grade dance was a huge success! Our sincere and heartfelt thanks go out to the many volunteers who ensured a sensational send-off for the 8th graders…from the “early bird” crew who took down the after-prom decorations…to the decorating contingent…to the chaperones…to the food and drink servers…and everyone in [...]

As the 8th grade Hershey Park trip will be taking place Friday, 5/30, below are a few reminders:
- Please be sure that students are on time to school on the day of the trip. We will board buses at 7:45am and leave Farquhar no later than 8:00am.

The Farquhar Eighth Grade Dance will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 7 – 9:30 pm in the Farquhar Main Gymnasium.  The theme this year is “Hawaiian Luau”.  Volunteers are needed.
