NEC Reminder: Free and Reduced-price Meal Program
As a reminder, students can apply for the free and reduced-price meal program at any time during the school year. As you are aware, for many of our families, work, and subsequently income, declines in the winter months. It is important that these households apply for the meal benefit. If the student is currently eligible for reduced-price meals and the household income has declined, they should reapply as well. Applications, in multiple languages, are available on the Division of Food and Nutrition Service Web page at:http://www.montgome ryschoolsmd. org/departments/ foodserv/farms/application.shtm.
