American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life
There will be a Farquhar Middle School team participating in the local Relay For Life event of the American Cancer Society. This is the third Relay For Life of Olney which will be held on May 31-June1, 2008, at Sherwood High School. Our team is being organized by the Farquhar Leo Club–sponsored by Pam Howton and Sandy Orzel.
A large, adorable, stuffed Frog with a ” Be Mine” sign will be raffled off at the Valentine Dance on Friday, February 15, for $1 a chance or $5 for six chances. The money raised will be used to register the Farquhar team on the Relay for Life website. Look forward to more opportunities on how the Farquhar community can participate in this exciting event.
